This article identifies the instructional technology programs offered in the College of Education at East Carolina University. Additionally, this article briefly discusses technological and pedagogical factors that influence work pursued in the instructional technology field today, which leads to introductions of the articles in the issue. Lastly, this article provides a glimpse of the future that instructional technologists may create.
