This document presents statistics and tables dealing with the use of television and radio broadcasts in Japanese schools. Topics discussed include: (1) the increase in the number of schools using school broadcasts; (2) reasons for using school broadcasts; (3) the exchange of views between teachers and broadcasters; (4) ways of overcoming obstacles to the use of school broadcasts; (5) information concerning educational broadcasts for handicapped children; and (6) current problems of school broadcasts.
