The conference reported here was designed to encourage practitioners and other educational decision makers to improve, expand, and/or install programs of education/work in postsecondary institutions of Colorado. The objectives, program, and conference proceedings from each of four sessions are presented. Session one, an overview, consists of several presentations and a task groups caucus. Some representative titles of the presentations are "Job Development and Placement Services", "Cooperative Education Programs", and "Cooperative Vocational Education Programs in Colorado". Session two involves two presentations on postsecondary education/work programs (one concerning the conceptual framework and the other on practices and promises), a task groups caucus, and a report of the task groups leaders on how to plan, design, implement, and maintain effective programs and services of education/work in Colorado. The third session covers seven symposium presentations on perceptions, expectations, and recommendations for Colorado postsecondary programs of education/work followed by a forum between the symposium presenters and a seven-member panel. Session four includes two presentations with the following titles: "Career Assistance and Placement Services--A Report from Triton College" and "Education/Work--Recommendations/Strategies/Challenges for Postsecondary Institutions in Colorado."
