The Arizona Commission of Indian Affairs' annual report is issued to inform the Governor, State Legislature, and tribal governments of the proceedings, transactions, findings, and recommendations made by the Commission, and this 1975-76 report presents the following: (1) Commission membership; (2) a map of the American Indian reservation areas in Arizona; (3) population and acreage of Arizona reservations; (4) a list of Commission meetings; (5) eight completed Commission projects summarized; (6) published material distributed; (7) highlights of the Commission's activities; (8) a publications list (five entries); (9) financial report (total expenditures=$76,605, total appropriations=$79,600, and total amount reverting=$2,994.95); (10) a special feature titled "Profile of the White Mountain Apache Reservation" (history, educational programs, government, the Native American Program, industrial enterprises, Federal services, tourism and recreation, alcoholism, etc.); (11) Appendices (Commission resolutions, letter of reply from the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, Office of Education suggesting means by which technical assistance for Title IV program development could be found, Commission resolutions re: demands for construction for the Leupp Bridge located on the Navajo Reservation in Coconino County).
