Slide shows could depict activities of the police department, courts, correctional facilities, and county commissioners. Transparencies of county maps, floor plans of the courthouse, organizational charts, methods for computing taxes, and current issues may also be prepared. Special techniques involve use of circuit boards and computer aided instruction. Circuit boards are easily constructed devices which signal correct responses with lights or buzzers. Steps for construction are provided. Computers may be used for individualized instruction, pre- and posttests, and games. Finally, field trips and a voter registration program are suggested. (KC)
