This packet provides sample lessons from the program "Stones and Bones: A Laboratory Approach to Physical Anthropology." Unit 10, "Principles of Taxonomy: An Introduction," includes lessons on: (1) "Descriptions"; and (2)"Groupings." Unit 17, "Neandertals: Beginnings of Spiritual Awareness," contains lessons on: (1) "Geographic Distribution of Neandertals"; (2) "Morphology of Neandertal Skulls"; and (3) "Behavior of Neandertals."
