Leadership, Service, and Exploration: An Evaluation in the Local, National, and International Context
Thurman, Vincent G.
Journal of College and Character, v17 n1 p60-65 2016
Leadership, service, and exploration are three concepts that have been a growing focus in the academic world over the course of many years. Higher education institutions have begun incorporating leadership curriculum, service learning initiatives, and experiential learning into academic curriculum to provide students with a more holistic learning experience in preparation for the professional world, which is becoming more internationalized each year. This article explores the ideas of learning about leadership, service, and exploration in the local, national, and international context as a part of a cohort experience.
