Miller, Kevin J.; Morfidi, Eleni; Soulis, Spyros
Journal of International Special Needs Education, v16 n1 p53-65 2013
Special education teachers and related service providers were interviewed for their perspectives on Greek special education policies and practices and how these influenced their job preparation and duties. Specifically, they were asked about the impact of the following on their jobs: Greek law related to the education of students with disabilities; university teacher training programs; job experience; teaching strategies; and changing teacher roles. They were also asked for suggestions to improve special education practices. Their perspectives are summarized and recommendations are provided. (Contains 2 tables.)
