Aggression in Delinquent Adolescents versus Controls: The Role of Parental Rearing.

Compared the relationship between adolescent aggression and parental rearing factors for delinquent and nondelinquent adolescents in Russia. Found that delinquent adolescents differed from nondelinquents on aggression as well as on the parental rearing factors of rejection and overprotection and maternal warmth, with aggression in both groups related to rejecting rearing practices.
