Designed to assist teachers and supervisors in the implementation of the global history course, this bulletin presents learning activities which include the rationale, performance objectives, and teaching strategies related to Theme IV entitled, "Developing Democratic and Nationalist Movements Have Had an Effect around the World." There are four subthemes: (1) The Roots of British Democracy; (2) The Concept of Natural Law Was Manifested in the Enlightenment; (3) The French Revolution Was Influenced by External as Well as Internal Forces and Had an Impact throughout the World; and (4) The Impact of Nationalism Has Been Profound and Global in Nature. Included is a suggested calendar of lessons as a guide for teaching global history on a daily basis. (KWL)
