This publication contains data on man-hours of labor used for farmwork in the farm production regions of the Northeast, Lake States, Corn Belt, Northern Plains, Appalachia, Southeast, Delta States, Southern Plains, Mountain, and Pacific. Regional data from 1950-1958 are provided in table form for the livestock enterprises of meat animals, milk cows, and poultry as well as the crop enterprises of feed grains, hay and forage, food grains, vegetables, fruits and nuts, sugar crops, cotton, tobacco, and oil crops.
