This report presents information on the experiences of three different Asian-American groups (Chinese, Japanese and Koreans) in the United States. Historical and geographic overviews of each group's country and a brief chronological history of each group's immigration and subsequent role in and influence on U.S. history are provided. Product and resource maps of each group's country of origin are included. Additional information provided deals with the cultural heritage of the three groups. Specific topics considered include social norms, verbal and nonverbal communication, music, literature, art and performing arts, and calligraphy. Differences between the groups in each of these areas are illustrated. (EB)
