Considering Children's Questions at Group Time: Let Children's Questions and Curiosity Lead Your Group Time Explorations
Church, Ellen Booth
Early Childhood Today, v21 n4 p44-45 Jan-Feb 2007
Often children's questions are about the things they observe. The beauty of using children's questions about life to inspire discussions is that it invites children to work collectively toward a common goal. This article describes the process of using children's questions to facilitate great group time interactions. The process starts where the children are--their interests, wonderments, and prior knowledge.
