Investigated psychosocial treatment for 47 children with anxiety disorders, comparing cognitive-behavioral treatment with wait-list condition. Evaluated outcomes using child self-report, parent report, teacher report, cognitive assessment, and behavioral observations. Found that many treated subjects were without diagnosis at posttest and at one-year follow-up and were within normal limits on many measures. (Author/NB)
