This document reports the results of a symposium held to examine: (1) the need for educational programs in energy conservation; (2) the issues and processes involved in the design, implementation, and evaluation of energy conservation educational programs; (3) the role of government in providing programs in energy conservation; and (4) the present cooperative efforts for meeting energy problems. Fourteen papers by participants are included, each preceeded by a brief abstract. Papers address evaluation, curriculum government role, attitudes, energy, and conservation as they apply to energy conservation education. (SL)
