In comparing delinquent v nondelinquent response patterns, six psychological measures are drawn from different theories. The measures, reflecting selected socialization values, include the empathy scale, the socialization scale from the California Psychological Inventory, the Machiavellianism scale, the compassion-compulsion scale, the Andre Psychopolitical Scale, and the Andre Psychopolitical Differential.
