Influences on Mathematics Learning and Attitudes among African American High School Students.
Thomas, John P.
Journal of Negro Education, v69 n3 p165-83 Sum 2000
Examined whether the influences of educational productivity factors on mathematics achievement and attitudes toward mathematics were the same for African American high school students and students from other ethnic groups. Data from the 1988 National Longitudinal Study indicated that the influence of productivity factors on mathematics achievement and attitude outcomes were not significantly different between African Americans and other groups.
