Bilingual Education in the United States: Historical Development and Current Issues.
Ovando, Carlos J.
Bilingual Research Journal, v27 n1 p1-24 Spr 2003
Various interpretations of the historical forces affecting U.S. language policy and attitudes toward bilingual education are examined.
