Part 1 gives an overview of the issues and statistics on girls and women in MST education and employment. Under each equity theme, the details of how it is played out in the classroom and specified and explained in single-line boxes for subsidiary themes. A number of activities are presented for each subsidiary theme. Part 3, "Assessing Your Students' Gender Equity Learning," provides sample scenarios and essay questions, and Part 4, "Action Research Projects," presents materials for enable students to conduct their own gender equity research.
