A 2-day training session on interventions for use with secondary students who have behavior problems is presented. The first section is a participant's workbook, which contains 23 training activities. For each activity, the workbook indicates the relevant section of a companion guide "Ecole et Comportement: Un Guide d'Intervention au Secondaire." The activities focus on participants' memories of their own adolescence, the Quebec government's definitions of behavior problems, student characteristics, observation and evaluation methods, the importance of teamwork, individual needs, establishment of objectives, reality therapy, conflict resolution, behavior modification, reinforcement, and preparing a service plan. The 23 training activities are designed to be very concrete and can be adapted and enriched to suit individual needs. The second section contains background information and answer sheets for the activities. The third section provides masters for the overhead transparencies. (JDD)
