High School to College-Going Rates for Oklahoma High School Graduates to Oklahoma Colleges: Linear College-Going Rate, Combined College-Going Rate. Oklahoma High School Educational Indicators Project.
Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, Oklahoma City.
Four tables report on college-going rates for high school graduates in Oklahoma from 1989 to 1993. The report cites the Oklahoma State Department of Education and the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education as data sources. The tables report on "Linear College-Going Rates" of those who go directly from Oklahoma high schools to Oklahoma colleges the following year and on "Combined College-Going Rates" which summarizes the overall flow of Oklahoma high school graduates into Oklahoma institutions of higher education. This figure includes students who delayed entry into college as well as students attending directly out of high school. The first table reports college going rates of high school graduates for 1991-92 as well as the linear and combined college-going rates for 1992-93. The second table reports average high school to college-going rates for 1989-90, 1990-91, and 1991-92 high school graduates as well as 1992-93 linear and combined college-going rates. The third table reports high school to college-going rates for 1989-90 high school graduates and the 1990-91 linear and combined rates. The fourth table reports high school to college-going rates for 1990-91 high school graduates and also 1991-92 linear and combined rates. In each table individual high schools are listed by county with data for each school in that county. The average combined rate for the 3 years, 1989-1992, was 68.2 percent. (JB)
