To help Thai students at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) learn the differences among various kinds of work authorization and how to appropriately apply for each, this project was developed, implemented, and evaluated. Data were collected from observations at the international student office at NYIT, student interviews, and a questionnaire. An instructional analysis was completed, and an instructional program was designed. The program involved lecture, discussion, role-play, structured note-taking, exercises, and oral-questioning techniques. This thesis paper describes the project's needs analysis, literature review, instructional task analysis, learning activity development, implementation of instructional delivery, and both formative and summative evaluation.
