Statistical tables in this summary report provide information on the following: (1) identification of numbers of students completing teacher education programs within the period September 1, 1989 through August 31, 1990; (2) new programs for the preparation of teachers initiated within the year, major revisions made to existing programs, and programs discontinued; (3) administrative or instructional staff changes; (4) campus developments which affected teacher education programs; (5) actions to correct deficiencies or improve conditions; (6) additional comments or suggestions to be noted by the State Board of Education or the Commission on Teacher Education and Certification; and (7) program modifications made as a result of information provided by the first- and third-year teacher study.
