The interactions of student financial aid offices with other campus offices, government agencies, and private groups are described. Campus groups that interact with the financial aid office include the following: campus veterans affairs office, student affairs office/dean of students, recruitment staff, campus registrar, chief executive officer, payroll office, loan collection office, the executive board, data processing center, deans and academic departments, controller, and admission office. The interactions of the financial aid office with the student services and student employment groups are also addressed, including student government, campus housing office, systemwide administration, student employment and placement offices, and off-campus employers. The aid office also deals with federal, state, and local government offices, including federal need analysis processors, federal and state legislatures, the U.S. Department of Education, and social welfare agencies. Attention is also directed to interactions with scholarship committees and other financial aid services, private scholarship donors, parents, high school counselors, the news media, and auditors. Finally, objectives of the "Audit Guide" of the Department of Education are identified. (SW)
