This annotated bibliography identifies current materials on the topic of sex role stereotyping and career aspirations of junior high and high school students. The sources included are selective and reflect a portion of the research available in the Robert E. Kennedy Library. The majority of the items are journal articles and unpublished studies available through the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) microfiche collection. The following ERIC subject headings were used to select works: sex role, sex stereotypes, sex role in literature, vocational education, and career education. Books were located through the library's card catalog under the following subject headings: sex role, sex role in literature, vocational education, and career education.
