This handbook is intended primarily for the classroom teacher and the school principal. The focus of the book is on the evaluation of students as they pass through elementary and secondary school. It includes suggestions for the classroom teacher in developing tests and other assessment measures. It also examines problems of policy from the point of view of the school staff as a whole, the principal, and superintendent.
