The document serves as a directory of projects supported by the U.S. Office of Special Education in the Handicapped Children's Early Education Program (HCEEP) and provides an overview of their activities. An introduction describes the HCEEP network. The overview summarizes the activities of the five types of HCEEP projects: Demonstration, Outreach and State Implementation Grant projects, Early Childhood Research Institutes, and technical assistance centers.
