The recommended titles listed in this bibliographic guide were selected through consultation with published bibliographic reviews, taking into consideration the diversified interests and resources of Manitoba libraries and with the intent of providing a student rather than a teacher oriented collection. The list is alphabetical within Dewey Decimal Classification categories and includes recommended grade levels, price, collection priority, and an evaluative abstract for each work.
