Considering the national and provincial economic environments for the next decade, this paper projects financial resources and constraints likely to be faced by school boards in Ontario over the same period. The study utilizes an econometric model developed by the Institute for Policy Analysis of the University of Toronto. The findings indicate that the educational sector in Ontario should be planning for negative "real" growth in their receipts from the provincial government as a result of declining school enrollment and anticipated continued restraint in provincial government spending.
