Peer Interaction: A Second Year Report.
Mason, Barry C.
This report is a follow-up to "An Experiment In Cross Age Peer Interaction" (ED 185 492). The peer interaction program is described in the initial document as an attempt to give sixth graders more insight into adolescent development and to give high school juniors and seniors the training and experience to develop communication and leadership skills. This follow-up report describes the second year of the program conducted with a new group of sixth graders and high school student leaders during the 1979-80 school year. Some program modifications are presented and a complete evaluation of the second year project is provided, including comparison of the results from both years of the project, and affirms the potential for peer interaction as a vehicle for growth and development. Evaluation forms, responses, and comments made by students, parents, and leaders are also given for both years. (Author/NRB)
