Two Week Instructor Training Course. Instructor's Guide.
Schlenker, Richard M.; McCormack, Richard C.
This Instructor Training Course was developed to provide a means by which students, not educated as teachers, will be introduced to the basic concepts of learning facilitation. Development of this course was partially based upon the "Instructional Development Learning System" model. Instructor training is a nine day, sixty-hour classroom course which provides students with instruction in the rudiments of public speaking, teaching methods, and curriculum development. It affords students opportunities to practice public speaking skills, use different educational methodologies, evaluate learning outcomes at the knowledge level of the cognitive domain and the complex skill level of the psychomotor domain. Other behaviors necessary to facilitate maximum learning gain in classroom, laboratory, and field environments are also presented. (Author/DS)
