The development and implementation of a clinical internship program for prospective teachers is described. This internship design creates an instructional team which develops and organizes learning experiences through team planning and team teaching. The team is comprised of the college supervisor, the local school board, school superintendent and principal, cooperating teacher, and the intern. These guidelines delineate the responsibilities and expectations of each team member. The fiscal organization of the program is described. Special considerations involving the contract between the intern and the other involved parties are outlined. (JD)
