This catalogue, prepared by the National Clearinghouse for Human Genetic Diseases, provides educational and informational materials on the latest advances in testing, diagnosing, counseling, and treating individuals with a concern for genetic diseases. The materials include books, brochures, pamphlets, journal articles, audio cassettes, filmstrips, games, laboratory exercise kits, teaching kits, 16mm motion pictures, posters and charts, real objects, 35mm slide transparency sets, slide/tape lectures, super 8 film loops, and video cassettes. The catalogue is divided into two sections, the title section and the appendices. In the title section, the materials are grouped according to the type of medium. Appendices are divided into a list of subject headings, a subject index to titles, and a list of abbreviations used with name and address of producers, publishers, and sources. (SA)
