The handbook first enumerates 18 standards and expectations dealing with accreditation criteria, grading and evaluation, use of facilities, classroom safety, and instructor performance. General information on 28 topics follows, including salary information, contracts, pay periods, certification, the community college course, load limitations, mileage reimbursement, the course outline, proposing a new course, class cancellations, meeting the class the first week, the 45th day, grade sheets, field trip procedure, textbook selection and acquisition, supplies, lab fees, alternative learning, support services, grading policy, required meetings, liability insurance, budget development, use of leased facilities, duplication services, contact procedures, and procedures for special problems. The President's philosophy of administration is then presented, detailing the administrative organization of the college in relation to accountability, decision-making, and management. The handbook includes organizational charts, a list of contact persons, a 1979-80 academic calendar, and a glossary of terms. (JP)
