Materials are classified into films; filmstrips and slides; tapes, scripts, and transcriptions; and printed materials. Each entry has a brief annotation and the source of the material is identified. In addition to this information, the following sections are presented: publisher's foreword; analysis of Educators Guide to Free Science Materials; general directions (for ordering materials); your letters of request (suggestions for formatting); how to cooperate with the sponsors; evaluation of industry-sponsored educational materials; "Back to the Basics in Science" by John W.
