This booklet, part of a long-range planning model concerning goal formulations, is a revision of an earlier publication on training school staff to write performance objectives (ED 011 944). The major changes in this programmed textbook include rewriting many frames and making significant changes in the presentation's sequence. This workbook covers instruction on identifying goal statements and the three parts of a performance objective; writing performance objectives; identifying program- and instructional-level objectives; classifying and writing objectives on the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains; and identifying and classifying performance objectives for each cognitive level.
