The Pennsylvania state guidelines for approving and granting inservice credit to teachers in local inservice programs is outlined. Information is provided on (1) the authority by which the state approval process operates; (2) the establishment and operation of local inservice councils; (3) the organization and administration of inservice programs; and (4) the structure of proposed inservice courses. Examples of application forms and faculty data sheets are also included. (DS)
