A French language curriculum that integrates career and self-exploration activities is presented. The unit is divided into nine mini-units for the teacher that include the following: career or careers to be role-played, student grouping, time allotment, materials needed, a day-to-day explanation of the student activities, and followup activities. The nine mini-units are on the following topics: seeking employment, personnel director and job applicant, writing and typing a letter, business office worker and customers, radio producer and announcer, salesperson and shoppers, tour guide, medical worker and patient, and food tester. In addition to the nine units, suggestions are offered on followup activities and evaluation, and sample questions that should be completed after each career role-playing situation are included. (SW)
