Described are the development and implementation of an inservice training manual for guidance counselors serving physically disabled high school students, and reported are results of a national survey of 226 secondary guidance counselors and directors. Six project activities are discussed (including identifying the informational needs of high school guidance personnel, writing the manual, and evaluating successive drafts of the manual). Survey results are reported in terms of characteristics of disabled students, patterns of service provision, counselor training and informational needs, and recommendations. (CL)
