Statistics on Social Work Education in the United States: 1975.
Sheehan, Joseph C., Ed.; And Others
Descriptive statistics on students and faculty are presented in this annual publication. Information on the number of students receiving degrees are for the academic year 1974-75. Data were obtained from 216 "approved" programs, including 151 accredited bachelor's level and 81 master's level programs--some in collaborative programs. Statistical tables are presented on: undergraduate students; master's students (including applications, advanced standing, enrollment, characteristics, financial aid, and concentrations and fields of practice); doctoral students; and college faculty (in terms of institutional characteristics, time in social work education, rank, primary responsibilities, salaries, sex, and ethnicity). Social work programs are identified by geographic region. A list is appended of all accredited graduate and undergraduate programs as well as the graduate program working toward accreditation and undergraduate candidacy programs. (LBH)
