The study estimated costs to the State of Pennsylvania and to local school districts for establishing and maintaining instructional materials media centers including materials and personnel. Results indicated that State subsidized regional media centers would be less costly for both the State and local districts and that the range of available services would probably be greater from a regional center than from the local districts.
