In preparation for the Third World Conference in Adult Education, the chaptrs of this report are based on Unesco's questionnaire. It is, therefore, not an exhaustive account of the period 1960-1970. The report discusses the following topics: National Education System; The Board of Adult Education; Financing; Methodology; and Personnel for Training of Adult Education. Three appendixes present Publications Pertaining to Adult Education Published during the Decade; Members of the Board, 1971; and Statistics and Figures. It is emphasized that informal, fundamental and vocational adult education in Kenya has been more pronounced than formal and literacy education. (DB)
