Some possible uses to which the photocopying of copyright works can be put under the Copyright Act of 1968 are explored. The topics considered are "substantial part," fair dealing in relation to research, private study and published criticisms or reviews, photocopying limitations, illustrations and multiple copies. The law, as interpreted by those who have used it, is not unduly restrictive. Nevertheless, there must be a limit on the unlicensed photocopying of copyright works. (AB)
