Volume I of this study describes the background of the Lincoln Filene Center's research and development on the intergroup relations curriculum and propositions, critiques, and recommendations relevant to intergroup relations education in the United States. It contains a report on inservice teacher programs, evaluation instruments, and procedures for disseminating information and findings concerning the curriculum. Volume II presents an introduction to the curriculum, the conceptual framework, the methodological tools, recommendations for teaching, learning activities and units, and recommended instructional resources for teachers and students.
