The potential value of radio and television in labor education, technical aspects, information dissemination, practical measures for promoting labor education broadcasting, and additional means of promoting the production of suitable program materials were discussed at this 1967 International Labour Office (ILO) workshop of labor educators and radio and television specialists. National experiences and activities, and such other aspects as technical assistance, correspondence study, and the role of the ILO were considered, with particular reference to the labor education needs of developing nations and societies. The document includes proposed points for discussion, and appendixes (workshop roster and itinerary, principal conclusions, text and list of contracting states to the agreement on the importation of educational, scientific, and cultural materials, summaries of selected lectures and presentations, and documents distributed during the workshop).
