The report lists the 622 research and demonstration grants awarded by the U. S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare during the period from July 1, 1966, to June 30, 1967. Each entry provides the title of the grant, the name and address of the grantee, the date the grant was awarded or the inclusive period for which the funds were made available, indication whether the grant was an initial one or a renewal, the amount of the grant, and a summary of the project. A symbol indicates the agency making the award (Social and Rehabilitation Service, Public Health Service, Office of Education, and agencies within them). Grants are arranged according to the following classifications: etiology, epidemiology, pathophysiology, rehabilitation, and medical treatment), and other. An introduction gives the functional definitions for the classification terms used, and a subject index of grants is included.
