MULTIPLE CLASSES ARE DEFINED AS THOSE IN WHICH THE TEACHER GUIDES THE LEARNING ENDEAVORS OF TWO OR MORE GROUPS OF PUPILS IN TWO OR MORE COURSES IN ONE ROOM AND IN THE SAME PERIOD OF THE DAILY SCHEDULE. SOME EXAMPLES ARE DESCRIBED, AND THE ABILITY OF MULTIPLE CLASSES TO MEET CERTAIN NEEDS, SPECIFIC PROCEDURES FOR STARTING MULTIPLE CLASSES, USE OF LEARNING MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT, AND EFFICIENT USE OF SPACE IN MULTIPLE CLASSES ARE DISCUSSED IN DETAIL.
