He asks questions and provides some advice for those that are concerned about the new political reality they find themselves in. He highlights some local victories and says that this is a moment to interrogate those stories and lift them up, to point the way that all of America is not Trump America. Finally, he talks about sources of hope. The author believes that what Donald Trump and his administration might do in four years pales in comparison to the kind of resistance that many of the folks that he works with have forged and won, and that is really hopeful for him--that in moments of crisis, it is possible to organize and resist and build, and ultimately turn the tide in our favor.
