The Research to Practice Projects: Lessons Learned about Changing Teacher Practice.
Boudah, Daniel J.; Logan, Kent R.; Greenwood, Charles R.
Teacher Education and Special Education, v24 n4 p290-303 Fall 2001
This paper identifies nine lessons learned from five federally funded special education research to practice projects. Four projects are school-university collaborative partnerships and one is local-school- based. Both models stress research-validated practices to improve performance of students with and without disabilities across multiple years. A brief summary of each project is followed by discussion of nine lessons learned. (Contains references.) (DB)
