Inclusive Attitudes, Strengths, and Weaknesses of Pre-service General Educators Enrolled in a Curriculum Infusion Teacher Preparation Program.
Cook, Bryan G.
Teacher Education and Special Education, v25 n3 p262-77 Sum 2002
The inclusive attitudes of 181 undergraduate preservice general educators were measured using the Opinions Relative to Integration of Students with Disabilities scale. Attitudes were more positive toward inclusion of students with learning disabilities than of students with behavior disorders, mental retardation, and multiple disabilities. Preservice teachers of different class standings did not have significantly different attitudes toward inclusion. (Contains references.) (Author/DB)
